Yo! Thanks for the private email. I feel that U-t00b fullfills three requirements: (1) it's relatively overground in both legal and moral senses, at least compared to torrents, like I said, it's sufficiently safe-for-work that I watched during lunch in my office; (2) it's so well known and easy to use that we can convincingly and sincerely argue that discussing the content of what we see on YouTube doesn't amount to promoting or facilitating any potentially inappropriate use of it, (3) episodes of watchable a/v quality and acceptable subs are easily found (bonus: compared to torrents, its a/v quality is significantly lower than broadcast and DVD, so its impact on Bandai pocketbook should be non-negative). Note that I've avoided giving even the most generic hints as to how to find the videos on U-t00b, that's my token adherence to the taboo. Unlike you, I am un-accidentally keen on overthrow the taboo against fansub. If you don't mind, please edit your message and post to GML, we can continue there. -- Dr. Core -------------------------------------------------- The Gundam Mailing List MK-II [email protected] Archives: http://www.gundam.com/gml Help: Email [EMAIL PROTECTED] with this in the BODY: help list
