Yo!  Thanks for the private email.

I feel that U-t00b fullfills three requirements: (1) it's relatively
overground in both legal and moral senses, at least compared to
torrents, like I said, it's sufficiently safe-for-work that I watched
during lunch in my office; (2) it's so well known and easy to use that
we can convincingly and sincerely argue that discussing the content of
what we see on YouTube doesn't amount to promoting or facilitating any
potentially inappropriate use of it, (3) episodes of watchable a/v
quality and acceptable subs are easily found (bonus: compared to
torrents, its a/v quality is significantly lower than broadcast and
DVD, so its impact on Bandai pocketbook should be non-negative).  Note
that I've avoided giving even the most generic hints as to how to find
the videos on U-t00b, that's my token adherence to the taboo.

Unlike you, I am un-accidentally keen on overthrow the taboo against
fansub. If you don't mind, please edit your message and post to GML,
we can continue there.
