Pearl isn't hard to do on your own (but then (dull) silver is also
easy). My wife keeps bugging me to give her a (completed) model to
paint with sparkle nail polish. Or rather... I think she wants me to
paint a model according to her design/direction.

For those few of you who remember Newtype Asylum back in last century,
I entered a model-building competition at a Toys-R-us in downtown
Toronto, armed with a (cheap) can of silver spray paint and bottles of
transparent paint. I was solo, against 4 other teams of 3+ members
each, we were supposed to each build a 1/100 Wing Gundam model in 2
hours. I managed to pull off a 2nd place finish with a silver,
metallic blue, metallic red color scheme.

Ahhh... there's a reason I'm reminiscensing over ancient history, hope
I will get to it...

Anyway, as far as I am concerned, the only kind of special edition
models that I would consider is transparent or electroplated. If it's
silver and/or metallic finish, I can do myself, better and cheaper.
