I thought I saw Louise's mother with someone at the wedding. But it could easily have been a cousin or a brother instead of her husband. I wasn't thinking about the father angle, but I think you might be on the right track. If so, how long is it going to take for Kinue to make the connection?
RE Veda and the Trial System - good old translation issues. Assuming that the Trial system only affects mobile suits connected to Veda, then it would also stand to reason that Tierie could be selective about which mobile suits it affected that were within range of the effect. That would explain why Exia wasn't affected. Tierie didn't want to shut it down. The third Throne was apparently out of range of the signal. The Thrones could be hooked into the system either because of a "plots within plots" setup in CB (though it seems odd that they'd have counterfeit Solar Furnaces), or because of whatever it was that Nene did while she was in the chamber on the Ptolemais. Useless sidenote regarding that visit to the ship - Nene apparently really did think Setsuna was cute. RE the "things" in Antarctica - They looked to me like the Solar Furnaces in the center of each Gundam. I'm also not the only one thinking along those lines, as I've seen it mentioned elsewhere on the net (by a viewer, not by an official source). I could still be wrong, but at the moment I think it's the most likely conclusion. Also, we definitely see each government contacted about something just when they're despairing about fighting seven Gundams. It appeared to me that there were three members of each military on the elevator, though I'd have to review the scene to make sure. junior ---------[ Received Mail Content ]---------- Subject : RE: [RE][gundam] Gundam 00 Episode 19 **Spoilers** Date : Tue, 19 Feb 2008 12:48:26 -0600 >From : "Reynolds, Jason M." <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To : <[email protected]> I noticed that too. It might play into her comment to her Mom that her dad was still alive. I don't remember seeing her mom with anyone at the wedding so maybe he did leave them to run some mysterious group. I thought that it was Tieria's connection with Veda that powered the trial system. I didn't get that it only affected MS hooked up to Veda. If it did then it should've affected the Exia more than the Thrones. >From what I saw it didn't affect the Exia at all. I thought that each CB group had their own master computer and that only the Ptolemais group used Veda. If the Throne Meisters had their own connection to Veda they shouldn't have needed to even touch the one on the Ptolemais to achieve their results. I thought the Thrones were hooked up to the Laguna System. Is that confirmed or a theory? I'll have to watch it again. It makes more sense than nukes. Other items - Corner's up to something. When Nadleeh turns off the Thrones, we see the lower half of someone's face (and some hair) with a comment that indicates that the person is the one who turned off the Trial system. That face resembles Corner. It's impossible to be sure without seeing the rest of the face, but he's excellently positioned to be the spider at the center of a web. It could be that he's affiliated with both groups of Gundam Meisters. I'm also fingering him as the chief suspect for being the one who has apparently provided the superpowers with their own Solar Furnaces. I thought that the one smiling was Corner's assistant Ribbons. I think he is more connected then he has let on and his higher up then Corner. Lockon keeps ending up as someone who may be paired off against pilots that were formerly focused on Setsuna. First we had Graham's continued encounters with Exia, before he ended up going against Dynames twice (and is paired against him in the current OP iirc). Now we've got Lockon with a very legitimate grievance against Ali, who Setsuna also has good reason to not like. Though since Setsuna, Lockon, and Tierie have now all had a conversation about the identity of Ali, it's possible that when Veda is finally used again in mission planning, the first mission might involve stepping on Ali with a Gundam (a fate which he richly deserves). If the Solar Furnaces being handed to the Super Powers are the result of a traitor scheming, then things are about to get out of hand very quickly. On the other hand, this may all be part of the super secret plan, in which case Professor Eifmann may have really been on to something when he was assassinated. Will Billy be able to figure it out? Were they handed to all of the Super Powers? It only looked like Union staff on that elevator.
