And Marina can do her "wish I > could shoulder the world's burden" line, Setsuna his "world so > distorted" line, Corners and Wang say their respective "I just > observe" and "the world must change or else!" lines. Personally, I see the Thrones as the first one to go, since apparently, they didn't get the message that people don't like them :) > > I meant, in my post, that Ptolemais isn't such a "clear and present > danger" that the Big 3 have to go and capture/destroy it RIGHT NOW. > With the GN-X, they can neutralize future CB interventions without > going on a risky expedition. Not right now, but they need to "go" because I don't think they want any Gundam just lying around that might cause problem down the road - after they are done with the Throne, the original 4 Meisters and company are next. > > In particular for Ptolemais, Sumeragi has been playing safe and solid > since the appearance of TMs. What would be the reason for her to risk > everything and everyone she commands? Hmm perhaps that would make a satisfactory ending for season > 1. One popular rumor/speculation is right now (supposedly "leaked" from one of the show creators in an interview, so take a few grain of salt with this), at least one of the orb elevator will be destroyed, causing a lot of deaths, at the end of series 1. The interview think mentioned 2312 as the start date for season 2 (5 years after the current setting). Personally, I see it as a fake one, but hey, it has tons of death, which we always want in a Gundam series :) -------------------------------------------------- The Gundam Mailing List MK-II [email protected] Archives: http://www.gundam.com/gml Help: Email [EMAIL PROTECTED] with this in the BODY: help list
