I happen to agree with Dave here.
I'm sure we have much better things to talk about on this (and other)
lists.
On a more fundamental level, people have a right to choose how they
communicate. With that right comes trhe responsibility that others
may not understand or choose to not understand. If you don't like
seeing his HTML you can delete his posts and he (presumably) loses
because his message doesn't get through.
On an even more fundamental level, I really, really, really don't want
to see another religious war like the MAC vs. DOS, BSD vs. System V,
BMW vs. Mercedes, Braun vs. Interplak, old vs. new, lowest common
denominator vs. bleeding edge technology, fiscalist vs. monetarist,
domain names vs. trademar...
Hmmmm. Maybe I'm on the wrong list...
