Esther and all,
Esther, I spoke with Becky about this very subject as it related to
Mike Robert statements on WIred.com yesterday. I will be speaking
with here hopefully again today. Our concern is that, there should have been
a request for comments BEFORE any guidelines were determined
by the ICANN Interim board, not after. By what authority do you or any
member of the ICANN board derive the either ability to set guidelines
for Accreditation, or without a membership organization in place
to approve of such guidelines? These will be the questions I will
be asking Becky today.
In our opinion, as with many others, the ICANN INterim Board
in yet another instance has acted at the very least inappropriately
here. Please refrain from doing so again...
