Hi, everybody. I logged in today, breaking my E-Mail fasting period due to holidays with my family, only to send a "New year greetings" message. The I saw the "RE: time" thread. I couldn't help it: I confess I read it! I will not answer before the end of my holidays (Jan 4), but I sincerely hope that we all can build something in the next year that will make us forget the fights of the past years. This is my wish to everybody for the 1999 (the way most of us number years - but not the only year numbering system). The DNSO will be operational in the next months. My hope is that it will gather the widest consensus, and that everybody will be able to contribute in his/her own way. Whether we will go through "competing" sets of bylaws, or not, it doesn't matter much for me, because at the end, we will be condemned to live in the same boat. We may as well start to learn how to live together now. Best wishes for the new year (it is a trifle too early for the Chinese and other Far East people, that have to wait another month, or for the Islamics, or somebody else, but sincere wishes to everybody).
