Yes, you are correct here Dr Lisse.
Randal Schwartz did however author Learning Perl (2nd edition was also with Tom
Christiansen), and co-authored Programming Perl with Larry Wall and Tom
Christiansen.
Larry Wall said of Randal Schwartz in his introduction written for Learning
Perl in 1993:
"..Professor Randal L. Schwartz, Doctor of Syntax, Wizard at Large, and of
course, Just Another Perl Hacker."
