Yes

To clarify, what I meant was that I can understand why the TM
interests feel the way they do, even though I don't agree with them.
In any event, I consider the fact that the TM interests' concerns have
been given audience to be quite significant in a political sense.

As I wrote before, the technology supports this.  It just requires the
various "ebays" to agree to use it this way.
