In Beverly v. NSI, N. D. CA, No. C 98-0337 VRW, the court
said that the NSI dispute resolution process was a lawful
means for NSI to protect trademarks. Beverly appeared pro
se and was creamed. He tried a conspiracy theory, i.e.,
NSI and Reed Elsevier Publishing (that had activated the
policy against Beverly) had conspired. The domain name
was whoswhointheworld.com; Reed publishes Who's Who.

Bad cases make bad law.
