It should also be pointed out that recently Jeff Williams and INEG claimed to
have hosted a conference in Dallas with 12,000 participants at the Texas
Stadium and the "INEG Campus." Note : The Texas Stadium has indicated they do
NOT host these types of events, and indeed did NOT host this event at all.
None of the Dallas Hotels or Media had ANY information of such a large
conference in their city as you would expect them to of any event of that size.
Further Jeff Williams and INEG were unable to provide ANY written information
on the event to those that requested it, including a media representative who
spent quite a few days trying to get Mr Williams to provide this information to
her via ANY means other than an unverifiable email with facts that could not be
independently verified by anyone who tried.
Then he posted the "reports" of those meetings in an attempt to try to
influence the ICANN process with the weight of, to use his words, the largest
stakeholder group.
I am sure the person claiming to be Jeffrey Williams is getting a good laugh
out of the Wired article.
