I apologize for overreacting, and for attempting to exploit a situation for
its comic value, which has backfired on me. It's just that it's a piquing
when Internet insiders have private conversations in jargon on the IFWP list
about subjects that are interesting to me. When they do that on the IETF
list, it's to be expected. But here I'd like to feel, even if it isn't
really true, that some consideration was given to the non-technical side of
the Internet. Also, when it's someone like Dave Farber who does it, someone
who isn't a regular contributor to this list, well it sort of gets my dander
up. I've been told to bug off more or less for posting to the IETF list, and
I guess I don't see why an IETFer like Dave Farber should come onto the open
IFWP list and act like it belongs to him. Anyway, I apologize for
overreacting.
BTW, thanks for the readable translation of what it was all about.
