Very good point here Antony. At the crux of all of this is as I have been
saying all along, MONEY!!! If you have the MONEY, you can be independent
or if several of these self styled "Want-to-be registries/registrars", would do
a little more planning, and investing in their operations towards a goal
of becoming "Independent" instead of doing allot of bitching, there would be
competition. This can be accomplished in allot of ways. Working
together in clusters could be one such method, that are of course
others. But the KEY IS MONEY!

There has ALWAYS been the availability for open competition, and there still
is.
