In almost all commercial organizations of any size today,
marketing communications groups develop the message - so
it seems a fair presumption.
In style and substance, it's not significantly different
than what we receive from any other product or service mailing
list derived from a purchase. It is also all part of building
a standard customer-supplier relationship one finds in any
business environment, and which the Internet facilitates.
Most companies do monthly mailings. Network Solutions did
this once. This is not spam.
The bottom line - as others have pointed out - is that some
are being critical of Network Solutions for being business-
oriented. That seems like a good orientation IMHO.
