Ron and all,

Well I can see how you might feel this way. but one should be very
careful in using personal feelings to justify a business decision.
Though it is none of my business, I tend to agree with Stef here.
I do so because unless or until Chris Ambler and IOD is willing
to legally challenge CORE with respect to .WEB, he will forever
have no legal claim to .WEB and eventually loose any business
leverage as to it's use. This position needs to be qualified or
fleshed out legally with respect to .WEB in some sort of a
final determination. The fact that IOD and Chris Ambler
was not willing to challenge them in open court before as they
withdrew their challenge before, it is showing that even the Service
mark (SM) is in jepordy.

It is my personal hope that Chris Ambler and/or IOD is or becomes
wise enough to enguage in such a challange or await the arrival of one
from CORE/ICANN (These are likely to become the same thing in the
mid term at least with respect to adding new TLD's). ANd that that
wisdom includes that they would be better suited to file such a
legal action in a venue other than California, such as the 1st US District
court. I would add here that I do have serious doubts based on several
reasons that are not important at this juncture, that IOD will do so
however...
