well mah goodness, what a pleasure to see brother dave. when ICANN does
this sort of foolishness i merely take a mirror up to it face and invite
it to gaze at its pompous reflection. I am getting tired of pissing into
the wind against these people and the last three weeks have been uneventful
enough that i am about to publish an issue with nothing about the ICANNite
clowns.

Helping versus hurting? Well tell me If I am the head of a large or even a
small ISP trying to keep my business up to internet speed, should I give
money to ICANN? Why.....so it can emesh my business in a bureaucracy that
only the EC and the ITU could love? If Steve Case wants to run for the
ISOC Board so he can become and angel paying for ISOC/ICANNite global
internet administration let him. maybe with his backing ISOC will have
finally enough funds to deliver an election ballot to each of its
uraguayan members? That's all we need is to have an AOL view of the
internet ascendent. :-(

IF ICANN would rather have a PR circus at the national press club than open
its processes to outside scrutiny, so be it. It's what you wood expect of
any good astro turff campaign

Send me back a well constructed screed. I haven't been crockerized in so
long....
