  Well what did you expect Martin when there are no competing registries?
As Jay Fennello, said, and I believe he is correct, that without competing
REGISTRIES you effectively cannot provide true competition to NSI.

  This has been the short sightedness or the ICANN and to a lesser
extent the NTIA as well.
