Honorable Mr. Pickering and the House Committee on Science-
On page 350 of the House Science Committee official record of the
Joint Hearing on the Domain Name System (ISBN 0-16-058104-4), it
says: "Since that hearing [on October 7, 1999]... the interim At
Large members of the ICANN Initial Board have been elected;".
This is untrue, as you must know. There have been no elections and
there are no elected At Large members, or any other elected members,
presently sitting on the ICANN board.
Would you please correct this misinformation in the public record,
which is untrue and a gross distortion of the truth of this process?
We are not, after all, in Stalinist Russia, where one can write or
rewrite history to please.
