Esther and all,
And who's reasoning might this be Esther? The stakeholders or
the ICANN Interim Boards? If it is the latter, than you have betrayed
yourself and disenfranchised everyone else in doing so. That will be
your epitaph and what you will long be remembered for. If it is the former
it will be a departure from what has thus far transpired, but a very welcome
departure.
You are making your own history here. What you and the rest of the ICANN
Interim board have done thus far, and will do in the near future will impact
the futures of literally millions of stakeholders and future stakeholders, my
children among them. You and the rest of the ICANN Interim Board
have already made at least two HUGE mistakes in Singapore that if
not reversed or severely modified soon will damage huge numbers of
stakeholders in the short term. Try not to make yet another two
mistakes in Berlin. Because if you do I am quite sure your name
will be as fresh camel dung with flies circling and devouring it's
useful content. And I am sure that there will be no place on this
earth that you will be able to escape their wrath. It is my hope that
should you make another two or one mistake as you and the rest of the
ICANN Interim board did in Singapore, that you have a large supply
of "Soap on a Rope", as i am sure you will eventually have great need
of it in your eventual accommodations.
The game of Baseball is like the game of life. When you are in the field,
you are a member of a TEAM. When you are at the plate, that is the time
for individual accomplishment. "Three Strikes and your are out". You are now
at the plate by your own choice. You have two strikes and no balls....
Need I say more?
