It is impressive to see multiple paid consultants for NSI forcefully claim
that taking money does not affect their opinions.
Never mind that taking money is considered the ultimate, indefensible
conflict of interest.
Never mind that many decades of research show that taking money DOES affect
one's opinion (look under "cognitive dissonance" for some of the REALLY
interesting demonstrations of this, suggesting that smaller amounts of
money create a bigger attitude change.)
But, no doubt, this particular set of hired guns is different.
They don't inhale.
