I was curious about something, and couldn't find an answer anywhere: As a private, non-commercial domain name holder, am I allowed to attend the public portion of the provisional Names Council meeting being held tomorrow afternoon? Since it's just a bit down the street from me, I thought I'd pop in. Also, are the proceedings preceeding this (sorry 'bout that) a closed-door session? If one can't be there physically, then could one participate in the conference call? lastly, if one can't do either of the above for the 'administrative' portion of the meeting, then what's the point of the open session from 1600-1800? The agenda specifically states it's to receive input on administrative or policy matters. If we're not allowed to hear the administrative issues, how can we provide input? Thanks again. I now return you to your regularly scheduled bickering. :) (For those of you who don't know where the meeting is: Friday, 6/25, Room B1 of the McEnery San Jose Convention Center. W. San Carlos at Market St., just west of N. First. Administrative session starts at 2pm, open session at 4pm.) -- Mark C. Langston
