[Note "reply-to:" field] FINAL CALL FOR COMMENTS - Deadline Friday 30 July Previous drafts of the document "Policies for Address Space Management in the Asia Pacific Region" were released and publicly announced on 5 February 1999 and 3 March 1999. On each occasion, APNIC received many useful and well-considered comments, which were taken into account in developing the successive drafts. APNIC thanks all those who have contributed. The development of this document has been subject to a comprehensive, open, consensus-driven process of consultation with the members of APNIC, the Executive Council, and the broader global Internet community. The Secretariat of APNIC now proposes that the current draft be announced with a "Final Call for Comments", with the intention that any comments received in the next period will be taken into consideration prior to a final draft being presented to the EC. Unless there are substantial comments to the contrary, the EC will approve the document as an official APNIC document. The policies will then be implemented three months from the date of EC approval. In order to allow organisations to thoroughly consider how the proposed policies would affect their businesses and, where necessary, prepare translations of the document, APNIC has set a deadline of Friday 30 July 1999 for responses. Please address your comments to the apnic-talk mailing list. If, however, you would like to make comments privately, please email Paul Wilson, Director General of APNIC at <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>. The current draft of the policy document is available at http://www.apnic.net/drafts/ipv4policy-draft3.html A summary of comments and amendments from the second draft is available at http://www.apnic.net/drafts/ipv4policy-comments2.html To subscribe to the apnic-talk mailing list send an email to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> with the words "subscribe apnic-talk" in the body of the message. + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + APNIC Secretariat <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Tel: +61-7-3367-0490 Asia Pacific Network Information Centre (APNIC) Ltd Fax: +61-7-3367-0482 Level 1, 33 Park Road, PO Box 2131, Milton, QLD 4064, Australia + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + * APNIC-ANNOUNCE: Announcements concerning APNIC * * To unsubscribe, send "unsubscribe" to [EMAIL PROTECTED] * * APNIC-TALK: General APNIC Discussion List * * To unsubscribe: send "unsubscribe" to [EMAIL PROTECTED] *
