I agree that any legislative form of regulation that may come to pass
should be enabling, not disabling. In that light any private regulation should
also be enabling, but also balanced and determined by the stakeholder.
That way the "Internet is for everyone", By everyone, and For everyone... >;)
IMHO, anything less, as we are currently seeing form ICANN/DNSO/WIPO
will surely flounder and eventually fail to make the "Internet is for Everyone"
criterion that you and I are fond of.... That would be a great shame indeed...
