I quote from the latest Wired story:
----------------------
The two seats formerly held by NSI will now be represented by
David R. Johnson and Phil L. Sbarbaro. Johnson is a partner at
Washington, D.C.-based law firm Wilmer, Cutler & Pickering
specializing in e-commerce, domain names and Internet governance
and intellectual property matters.

As the chief litigation counsel of Network Solutions Inc. and a former
senior trial attorney with the Justice Department, Sbarbaro may know
all of the concerned parties fairly well.
-----------------------

An NSI seat has been taken from NSI and given instead to its attorney?
Is ICANN that dumb or is this a major con job? Moreover, is Wired that
dumb, or is it part of the hype?
