You're looking at this in the wrong way, Gordon. It's not a matter
of implementation. The IETF can implement nothing, and doesn't even
pay attention to its own RFCs when it's convenient not to.
This GAC-inspired RFC is just part of the circle-jerk (excuse my
language). The PSO ratifies GAC policy which parrots ICANN policy
which mimicks ISOC/CORE which tells the IETF what to do. See?
They're all just trying, by whistling in the dark, to get up the
courage to go into the office of the Montserrat Rangers and ask them
to bust the techie running .ms, or some such.
Think they'll ever work up the guts? Think the Rangers'll do what
they say? If you were a Montserrat Ranger, would you go bust an
Internet geek because Easterlake, Dyson, and Twomey told you to?
