A guess, maybe not too wild: NSI will sign a negotiated registrar
policy with ICANN. This policy will include most of the provisions
of ICANN's policy agreement, with a few tweeks to protect NSI
further from lawsuits, and permitting NSI to retain its hegemony
over the registry for another couple of years. No serious
modifications will be done to the obligatory registrar/registrant
contract to make it less unfair and unconstitutional.
