Karl- You have my sincerest commiserations for not being chosen for the Board. It's an outrage. This is happening because ICANN was permitted to place the Names Council before the General Assembly. The Paris draft's main point was to give precedence to the General Assembly, and it should have been fought over tooth-and-nail in Singapore and afterwards.
