I read they're aware that the unfortunate choice of a name has cost them business. Those zany Germans! I guess humor doesn't translate well. CORE's server was down? Ah well -- good enough for government work. It would be nice if someone kept an eye on the registrars' servers, and reported any kind of irregularity to alt.domain-names.registries and comp.protocols.tcp-ip.domains.
