  Joop, thanks for providing this link (Story).  Looks like the GAC
has been at work here to a degree, huh?  >;)

  There is one part that I think you need to delineate a bit more
clearly though.  That being the following excerpt:
"Labor has also expressed concern that the law allows ASIO to add, delete
 or alter data on remote computers. An amendment has subsequently been
 made that says data can only be altered if it is "necessary" to obtain
 access to data. "

  I would also like to see the EXACT text of this bill in Australia as well.
Would you happen to have a URL or a copy?  Also is a court order
required for this?
