I've also notified James L. Fielding who is registered as the contact person of "host sparky.arl.mil". No reponse. The root nameservers seem to be confused about .NL too: % host -t ns nl. l.root-servers.net. nl NS record not found at l.root-servers.net, server failure Earlier in the day a, e and f failed to resolve .NL as well. Is there anyone here who has the power to do something about it? Or at least anyone who has an explanation? All input is appreciated ..
