Don't hold your breath, Jay. I think CDT and Common Cause have
simply helped ICANN find a way to make the Board's control of the
At-large election process more palatable. CDT has been on board the
ICANN wagon for a long while now, and they've never criticized it
before.
This whole thing stinks of a Markle (read "government") white-wash.
It's a publicity scam, pure and simple. And since it's
Markle-inspired, I wouldn't doubt that the same people who brought
us Project Truth, the press cover-up of the Iran-Contra-Drugs scams,
(i.e. the CIA and NSA) were behind it.
