To pretend that all ECHELON does is try to ferret out industrial
bribery is the height of disinformation, as even a cursory glance at
the list of keywords it uses (see my post to IFWP on March 15, which
gives the list of keywords published in Europe) will show.

What do "love and "peace" (ECHELON keywords) have to do with
industrial bribery? Apparently the CIA and NSA believe they can
locate terrorists and other dangerous opponents of American-style
democracy by examining email messages for these two words. Love and
peace have become subversive. (Actually, they have been ever since
the Vietnam era.)

Why are the keywords "intelligence" and "agencies" on the list? To
find connivers at industrial underhandedness, or to locate persons
who might take an interest in the underhandedness of the CIA and
NSA?

What is "street fight" doing there? Is that a tactic of the European
bribers?

What about "bubba", Mr. Woosely? Is the use of that word indicative
of someone who is a dangerous revolutionary?

How about "veggie"? Are people who eat veggie-burgers bribing
officials in Brussels to buy the airbus?

Are "Bugs Bunny" and "Groucho Marx" (ECHELON keywrods) conducting
industrial espionage?

And "exorcist", Mr. Woosely?

Why is the CIA reading emails with the keywords "rita", "Daisy",
"Iris", "Monica", "Mary", and "Stephanie"? Are these the bribers
that Mr. Woosely is combatting? Or are they perhaps some paranoid
CIA people's wives who didn't have time to shop for dinner last
Thursday? ("divorce" is a keyword. So is "ladylove".)

"Harvard" is on the list of keywords. (I mention this in passing,
for those who persist in refusing to believe that Harvard University
is a hotbed of U.S. intelligence.)

What about "Elvis", Mr. Woosely? Is he behind the loss of American
war materiel contracts in the Sudan?

What's "Starr" doing there, Mr. Woosely? Are people who don't like
what Mr. Starr's been trying to do to the democrats considered by
you to be dangerous furriners plotting against U.S. commerce?

How about "Retinal Fetish", "mania", and "Salsa", Mr. Woosely? I
mean, are you guys in the CIA really hunting down nasty European
industrial bribers, as you say, or have you simply gone bananas?
