This and all other such plans are just pie in the sky so long as the
opponents of any peoples' agenda are in power. Hallucinations about
a better world - like all the hippie mush from the 'sixties - while
this world is run by the violent beasts of the jungle, are worse
than no dreams at all; they take the place of real action.
The spokesmen and women of peace and love let the Kennedys be
eliminated with impunity and those who profited from their murder
become the lords of America. Those who speak now for a Green Tax
Policy, a People's Agenda, or, like the Nader Organization,
Consumer's Rights, never effectively oppose the erosion of our
rights, such as has been done with the sale of the Internet to IBM
and NSI. Instead, they lead people down the garden path and
substitute pot dreams and fantasies for real action.
Until big business, which has totally corrupted Americans and the
American government, is put in its place and democracy restored to
this country, such things as the tax reform proposed in this essay
are pipe dreams.
