>From the creation dates bali.com could not have been up for renewal and from
the dates in the news article neither was web.net. As far as I know, no
registrar would release a name immediately on the expiry date - there is
always a period of at least 30 days grace. Name Secure tells me it's usually
3 months before release.
I know of three domain names still sitting there up to a year or more after
their expiry date. I'd like to hear if anyone knows any different to that
practice.
That means it certainly is theft. I'd suggest that Network Solutions
transfer the names back again to their rightful owners.
And search their database for any other registrations by Billy Tandoko.
