Naturally you do. You are either a spokesman or an apologist for
trademarks and big business, special interests that have been
granted undue influence and power by Ms. Burr and her creation,
ICANN. You believe what it is convenient for you to believe, to
salve your conscience.

An obvious lie unworthy of any response.

Ha-ha! Do you mean, for example, like the users playing an equal
role to business in the NewCo? Or the NewCo serving the public
interest? The only jury out on those principles, Mr. Palage, is
perhaps the jury of the ICANN Central Committee. The rest of the
world knows the truth.

Again, you do not really believe this; you cannot be so ignorant or
unaware as to do so. What you call belief is merely your need to
reassure yourself that your own betrayal of the community is less
heinous than you secretly suspect.

Are you mad? But, no. You are an artist, painting a pretty picture
to hang on your wall so that you need not look on reality. You do
not lie to us, Mr. Palage, but to yourself.

Oh? Are Burr & Co. going to allow .bank, .money, and .greed? How
nice.

So, the unelected ICANN Board thanks Ms. Burr for recognizing it and
giving it the legitimacy that it has not won from the Internet
community? A more repulsive circle-jerk I have never witnessed.

More than her insight. At IBM, MCI, AT&T, or wherever it is that she
finds the greatest recompense for her efforts on their behalf, we
can rest assured that Ms. Burr will continue to manipulate the NewCo
in accordance with the bought allegiances of the DOC, paid for by
the companies she has always represented.
