Go for it. Break the .com.au hold. Your root may be good
for Oz and the world. (Some Aussies call their home Oz.)
After speaking at Internet World in Sydney last summer, I
registered an "au.com" domain at the stand of nic.au.com,
NetRegistry. What's up with that alternative upstart effort?
Would they want to support you in posting .oz to the root?
As for 2-letter TLDs, I'm all for fewer keystokes and less
carpal tunnel strain... Politically, what will ICANN say?
