Hi Everybody --
Happy 4th of July Weekend! I've posted at Media Visions a few moments ago my revision for part I of Global Sense. This one Mb PDF file will be available as a FREE download for the 4th of July Weekend. Please forward this email to your friends and associates. I hope for lots of downloads. http://media-visions.com/july4th/GlobalSense-Part1.pdf (Offer expires at Midnight MDT on Sunday, July 7, 2002) I'm posting this excerpt this weekend for three reasons. First, I want to stimulate public discourse. Second, because I'd welcome your feedback on the changes I'm making. I'm now in the process of cutting the book length by half, taking out major sections of Part II and Part III for inclusion in other books, leaving me closer to the bone in advocating the common sense of a global sensibility that transfoms us as we transform our world. Third, quite honestly, I'm hoping that hundreds or even thousands of people will do free downloads this weeekend. If I can give to my literary agent a site usage printout showing solid interest in free downloads on 4th of July weekend, seems to me, this may help him in selling the book to a major publisher. Three houses are now considering my book proposal with the latest revised text , so you can be sure I want to support his efforts. Here's the official book blurb: GLOBAL SENSE by Ken Freed Practicing Personal Democracy on Homeland Earth. An update of "Common Sense" by Tom Paine for these new times of crisis that try our souls. Follows Paine's 18th Century structure and logic to reach fresh conclusions about war and peace and responsible self rule in the 21st Century. "The evolution revolution is here." Thanks for helping. Thanks for reading. Thanks for thinking. Thanks for feeling. -- ken Ken Freed Publisher, Media Visions Journal http://www.media-visions.com "Deep literacy makes global sense." ========================================== BELOW ARE THE UN-REVISED OLDER CHAPTERS Already posted at Media Visions Journal (More revised chapters may be posted later.) ========================================== GLOBAL SENSE by Ken Freed Introduction - Global democracy is the cause of humankind. http://media-visions.com/globalsense-Intro.html (Unrevised) I.
