Their search sucks, since those keywords do exist on the info page.
Which clearly they do not search with their own search :)

I have no idea who did this, and I had no involvement in it. However its
the same as the domain name, and most anyone calls it JaxLUG. I haven't
heard anyone actually say Jacksonville Linux Users Group is some time,
or even typed it. Though it is still a common search according to
analytics.

Didn't mean to patronize, I just google everything including myself.
Love how something so innocent can sound so dirty. Though kinda shocking
at times how even when I am inactive. My search count goes up when
searching for my name in quotes.

Also shows how Google tailors results to the IP and keywords. Even more
so if you log in and they really track your history. But for me it shows
as first few links when I type in facebook jaxlug.

Its how I got the link cause I don't go on Facebook or do anything
there. I didn't even bookmark the Facebook page when it was created. But
I guess now we need to add it to the Wiki.... :)

Well again I had no involvement there, and ideally people post to the
list before doing such things. But thats not always how things happen,
and its not like there is much if any coordination or real JaxLUG
leadership or anything. I am part to blame there, just as we all are :)

Well that really should be discussed by the group. Its the groups page,
and name to change. I really don't see the harm in it being JaxLUG. But
if others really contest, then I am fine with it. Its pretty moot to me,
rather see more use of the Wiki, than other things. But its what ever
the group wants to do, of which I am just one member.

I am not El Presidente ;) If so I would be worse than Castro! But
probably do need to see about restoring some form of leadership and
structure at some point. Its been quite a while since the JaxLUG has had
any structure or organization.

I don't see it being a battle I will spend time fighting. Its pretty
moot to me, but I will back anyone who takes on the fight. Really don't
see it being an issue, once someone claims ownership and creation of the
page. No clue why they haven't made themselves known, its not a big
deal.

Unless Facebook created the page themselves. To increase their own
account creation numbers and such. I have seen many sites do things
along those lines ;)
