I attended those as well and went to Mossfire. But think about this, at
a LUSH if 10 people spend $5, then you just dropped $50. Others might
not even be eating at that point or anything. You have all collectively
spent more than you would have if you all pooled in funds and did it
together. Way more than it cost to cover pizza and refreshments for all.
Thats if you can even get anything for $5, at Mossfire Grill I myself
averaged $10-$20.

It also means every time someone attends a meeting and LUSH, they are
spending money. Or just not participating which can be odd. I don't like
people sitting next to me not eating if I am. Makes me feel rude, and
almost like I should buy them something to eat, drink, etc.

That said, Dave and Busters is right down the road. Nothing stopping
anyone from doing a LUSH there. Or else where. I agree they were fun and
beneficial. Its just the money aspect, and even more importantly, the
added/increased time if on the same night as a meeting. Those made it
some what of a detractor.

But these things are up to the group. Not like I will be participating
much in person moving forward. So really some what moot to me. Just
passing along some food for thought. :)
