I guess I should have been more specific when I said OS suggestions.  I already 

have the hardware.  twin dual core xeon 2.93 with 8 gigs of ram and 16 2tb 

drives.  FreeNAS is being a tard and will not let me select even one drive to 

populate a volume onto and I know solaris will work but no one else really ever 

seems to want to use it.
