We are looking for an ActionScript GOD - someone who can create ultra lean, ultra mean code. The type of person who knows ActionScript and Flash so well that he/she can do in 3 lines of code what the average person takes 30 lines to do. Someone who understands that complex projects should be efficient and easy to update.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
You will take Flash and design elements in various forms - from movies to PSD layouts - and quickly build them out as interactive web experiences. You will program educational games, advergames and websites by following OOP fundamentals. You will find ways for each project to reduce file size and load times. You will integrate Flash components with ColdFusion, PHP, and other technologies. You will meet deadlines and budgeted hours. You will play well with others. And best of all, you will have fun in the process.
* 3 - 5 years experience developing in Flash and with these web technologies: Flash integrated with CSS, _JavaScript, HTML, ColdFusion, ASP, SQL and XML
* Expert knowledge of Action Script and _JavaScript including moderate use of math, physics and XML
* Proficiency with graphics production/design (Photoshop, ImageReady, and Illustrator)
* Motion graphics, timeline animation, video and sound editing experience are a definite plus
* Must follow instructions well, but will need to also exercise some latitude in determining objectives and approaches to challenges and solutions.
* Must have excellent understanding of, and experience with using industry best-practices and accepted conventions and can appropriately apply them to work.
* Must be goal oriented and organized. Good design and conceptual skills. Self motivated, excellent work ethics, positive work attitude, excellent communication skills (verbal and written) are a must. Must possess the ability to respond and/or adapt quickly to team/agency and client needs. Must be able to multitask.
