Just a quick note to let everyone know that we're now officially an "Adobe User Group." Since Adobe didn't really have a strong community/user group program before it took them a while to make up their minds about what they wanted to call this program and how they wanted to run things.
The good news is that we now will be able to raffle off one piece of software every six months from the Adobe line as well as the Macromedia line of products, and they bumped the dollar amount up a bit so it includes the Adobe Video Suite (or whatever they call it). They also announced a rather comprehensive list of benefits that we should be able to start availing ourselves of very soon. I'll get the new Adobe User Group logo on the web site soon, and at some point very soon the dev team needs to get going on things for the new site! We have a basic design decided upon so we should be able to nail down specific features so the designer(s) can crank out the front end and we can get some feedback, while behind the scenes the developers start building out the basic components of the new system. We'll keep everyone posted as we make progress.
