The data type is text in the database.  I know it's cutting off because after saving when it pulls it back out of the database the additional text isn't there....I've also done a cfdump before entering into the database and the text isn't there.  So the field does seem to be cutting off the text.

How do I override the long text buffer size in a shared hosting environment?

Thanks,
Justin

In the CF Administrator check the Long Text Buffer size for the datasource, default is 64000 characters.  Had the same issue recently.

Subject: [DFW CFUG] FCKEditor and max characters

Anyone know if there is a max number of characters that one can input using the FCKEditor? I have a client that is inputing a large text file and upon saving the file, the rte cuts it off and limits the characters.  My database and query are setup correctly. But if anyone has any ideas or can answer my question, please let me know.

Thanks,
Justin
