Jr. Web Developer Position
 
everitt.company, a creative web application development company based in Richardson, Texas, is seeking an experienced and self-motivated developer to join the company’s web design and development team.  At everitt.company, web developers work closely with a small team of graphic design and other professionals to develop web sites and applications for everitt.company clients.  Candidates should have a degree in Computer Science or Information Systems, or have two years of relevant web development experience, and be interested in creating attractive, dynamic and rich Internet applications.  We provide competitive compensation and a creative environment where professionals are able to make meaningful contributions to our clients’ businesses, while developing a rich portfolio of results and experience.
 
Demonstrated skills required of everitt.company Web Developers include:
 
  • Strength in general code development, code optimization and software design principles; OO programming experience is desired but not required
  • Knowledge of multiple programming languages, including ColdFusion MX , XML, CSS, _javascript_, AJAX, ActionScript; ColdFusion MX certification is also desired
  • Competence in popular database architectures, including SQL, MS-SQL Server and MySQL
  • Capability in general graphical design/development skills, using Macromedia and Adobe suite of products
  • Skills in analytical and problem solving, including the ability to analyze business processes and create application models utilizing project-management standards
  • Ability to function both independently and as a contributing team member, as appropriate, communicating clearly from both verbal and written perspectives
 
Duties:
 
  • Develop moderately complex architecture and system designs, based on client business needs
  • Perform development and testing of moderately complex IT solutions
  • Participate in the analysis of business-process/information flow and the creation of appropriate applications model
  • Contribute to the development of technically and aesthetically creative solutions to client business requirements
