Chirstopher,

Keep in mind that BlueDragon has a free "community" version for non-profit applications.

Crap... Thanks Dave. I've got a ton of UDFs which I like to use that just make my life simpler. Sometimes I even forget that they're not part of the core language. Maybe I'll just get some cheap/free CF hosting site that supports more recent versions and do my thing there. hmmm.

Or maybe someone on the list would like to donate $1500 bucks or so to the cause, so I can buy the latest version? :-D

Arrays, Structures, and combinations of the two will be fine, as will custom tags.  IIR though, UDFs arrived in 5.0.

Hey everybody,

I've got a little project coming up soon that I'll be doing for my church and it will *have to* be done in CF 4.5. :'(

My question is: did ColdFusion 4.5 support structures and arrays of structures, etc.?

I didn't start programming in ColdFusion until a little over two years ago and I started on MX 6.1.

If anyone knows the answer to this question, I'd love to hear it. Also, what other functions and such that I take for granted might not be in that version?
I know that CFC's didn't exist, but what about UDF's, or custom tags? Can anybody think of anything else that most folks use on a day to day basis that wasn't included in CF 4.5?

Thanks,

Chris
