i like captivate. a couple of quirks I've found is if I'm typing a
name in a text box and type john it it show me typing except the last
letter until I click somehere. maye I'm missing a setting. I haven't
tryed to capture an ajax app either.

The only downside is (and this goes for all screen cap apps, i believe)
is sizing. Although Captivate allows you to record only one window, if
you want to show the desktop and you record full screen it records full
screen... so if your monitor is set to 1024x768 then that's how big your
video is.
Overall and for the price it's pretty solid. Plenty of export options
including, of course, Flash.
