Thanks Mike – that will definitely help us to catch the errors from Coherence with the try/catch method.

Hi Tom,

I think this page will be of great assistance to you.

People,

Does anyone know what Java errors CF catches by default?  A co-worker
sent the following email with a good question.  Note - we are receiving
an error from a Java package and I would like to ensure that it is
caught by the standard site error handling and if this is not possible
do the appropriate try/catch around the code using that package to
intercept future errors.

Thanks for your input,
Tom

p.s.  Following is the email from my co-worker:

Tom, what does CFMX try to catch by default?  Probably a CFMX specific
subclass derived from Exception?  If so, it won't catch those exceptions
unless you specifically caught their superclass (catching
java.lang.Exception would have caught those RuntimeExceptions along with
any CF exceptions.).
