Dave, Here are the three issues that I ran into and reported to
Adobe support. 63710: After creating new Server Instance - The link
"Click here for access to the CF Admin for your new server", links to
"http://127.0.0.1:8100/flashservices/CFIDE/administrator" when it
should be "http://127.0.0.1:8100/CFIDE/administrator". Fixed in CFMX 8. I think this does not hurt
anything since we can type in the correct address in the browser. 64260 CFMX software Files are missing when creating a
new instance within the Instance Manager and choosing the "Create From
EAR/WAR" option. Missing files that we have found so far are the
watermark.png and Register C++ CFX is not on the form. This is affecting the <cfdocument..>
tags behavior when an error occurs within the tags (to fix the problem you
would need to copy the watermark.png to appropriate lib directory in the new
server instance) and is also affecting the ability to add new C++ CFXs to the
server. 64262 Applying the 7.0.2 Updater does not update
server instances that have been created using the optional EAR/WAR feature when
creating a New Instance in the CFMX Admin Instance Manager. If you create
a new instance with out choosing your own J2EE Archived WAR this problem does
not occur. This one is affecting applying the updater
to the instances created from a WAR file. We do not run custom JVM.config files for each server. We
are using the default one in \\JRun4\bin but we are pointing our servers to JVM
1.4.2_12 though. I am not sure if that would help you. Ahmed. From:

Tom, This
issue applies to the Multi-Instance server install. Server instances created
with customized WAR file do not get updated by 7.0.2 updater. Adobe
opened bug# 64262 for this issue. They said this is not going to be fixed until
the next major release. There
are a couple of other issues that show only with Multi-Instance deployed with a
customized WAR file. Ahmed From: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

issues Thanks Dave – that is good to know. Tom From: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

On Behalf Of Dave Shuck The only issue I have found is that it barfed where a
developer had put in a chachedwithin attribute on a cfquery that was doing an
update. I would call that a code problem rather than a ColdFusion problem
though. Other than that, I haven't seen any issues. On
