I'm pretty sure that's right on. I was actually working on a JS solution when I submitted the question. I'm headed in the right direction. Thanks Ken.
>>> [EMAIL PROTECTED] 8/15/2006 1:11 pm >>> What? I don't know if I'm understanding you correctly, but a cfinput with a type of image in a cfform would be used for a submit. Are you saying that you'd like to have someone click on one of your hotspots and have that submit the form and show the results get from a query using the id or whatever you passed from the hotspot in question? If so, what you need to do is something like a javascript submit when the hotspot is clicked and then on the action page, even if that is the same page, you run your query and show your results. If all of the information you need can be passed from the click and you don't have any other form data being passed as well, then you can dump the whole form idea and just use the image map clicks to link to a page with url parameters to do the same thing... Let me know if I misunderstood what you're trying to do. I have an HTML image map that contains approx 75 different hotspots that change images in a frame. I'm trying to switch it to a cfinput image with a map so I can have it display cfresults on a query by tile number, on which the hotspots are based as well, but I guess I've run into a wall. CF treats all images that are inputs as one hotspot region, regardless of imageMap. How can I make imageMaps work in CF? Or should I just scrap it and move on? ----------------------------------- Jeff McCabe GIS Technician City of Hurst [EMAIL PROTECTED] (817) 788-7082 >>> [EMAIL PROTECTED] 8/14/2006 5:08 pm >>> one note this tag does work <cfdocument> being passed the same variable - if that will give anyone some help - helping me. I enabled RDS, I can not make an RDS connection on the Production server. I did set up one other <cfreport> for another site on the server and it functions. It is passed all <cfreportparam>, this one is using URL., but like I say it works fine on the local dev. I would appreciate any suggestions.
