I have a contract to hire opportunity and didn't know if you or anyone that you knew might be interested. I have included the details:
Our client located in Dallas is looking to add an additional web developer to an existing team of five in a contract to hire role.
This position will be working closely with various business units to grow the business through the development of internal and external web sites and applications. These sites will describe products, the Company and allow current customers to manage their services. Candidates should have 3 plus years of Web Development experience. Experience in building/deploying web applications in an Oracle/Unix environment is desired. The ability to provide recommendations for look and feel (colors, fonts, and design layout) is a plus.
Job Skills
•Strong software development skills in multi-tiered and distributed environments using iterative development process. OO Programming experience a plus.
•Graphical design/development with Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Flash
•Development Methodologies: OO analysis and design, UML, Incremental and Iterative Development Testing Process
•Multiple Programming Languages: Cold Fusion preferred (Structures, Fusebox), XML, CSS, JSP, Perl, or ASP
•Databases: Oracle 8.x/9.x, SQL
•Multiple Operating Systems: Sun Solaris, NT, Linux
•Excellent analytical and problem solving skills; with the ability to analyze business processes and create application models utilizing project-management standards
•Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a cross functional team.
•Telecom and/or internet domain knowledge and solid experience with eBusiness processes and/or back-end applications is desirable.
